June (Brenner) Fialkoff

June C. (Brenner) Fialkoff, 83, of Deerfield Beach, FL, and West Harford, CT passed peacefully Saturday, August 15, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chelsea MA, she was the daughter of the late William and Frances (Kaufman) Brenner of Winthrop, MA. After raising her family, June returned to the work force as a bookkeeper, working her way up to Chief Clerk of the Hartford Probate Court until she retired after more than 20 years of dedicated service. June’s quick wit and wry sense of humor always kept her family entertained. A consummate bargain shopper, she was an avid crossworder and loved playing cards and mahjong with her friends in Florida and family in West Hartford. She was a pet lover her entire life. She leaves her loving husband of 59 years, Jules, her four children: Brian J. Fialkoff of West Hartford; Kim F. Vorilhon and husband Xavier of Simsbury, CT; Glenn R. Fialkoff and wife Cheryl of South Windsor, CT; and Francine W. Armstrong and husband Peter of Simsbury, CT. She leaves her 11 grandchildren (including two sets of triplets), all of whom were the light of her life: William Vorilhon of Colorado, Alex Vorilhon of Paris France, Nicolas Vorilhon; Valerie and Spencer Fialkoff; Alana, Michael and Jacob Fialkoff; and Cameron, Chelsea and Benjamin Armstrong. June was predeceased by her sister Beatrice Lovins of Maryland.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery, 200 Whitman Rd., West Hartford, CT. Following the graveside service, a celebration of June’s life. There will be a reception hosted by the family.
