Julia (Bromberg) Sigal, 92, of West Hartford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 after a long illness. Julia lived the majority of her life in West Hartford. She will be missed dearly by her family, and many close friends, especially those of The Wolcott Hill Market in Wethersfield. Born in Hartford, Julia was the daughter of Bella and Morris Bromberg. She was predeceased by the loves of her life, Julius Siegal, to whom she was married for 40 years, and Saul Eisenberg. She is survived by her son, Joel Sigal and his wife Clare of Selkirk, NY; and two daughters: Marilyn Harper, and her husband Joseph Harper, Jr. of Berlin, and Andrea Pillsbury and her husband Dr. Stephen Pillsbury of Avon; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Jeffrey Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Brahilover Benevolent Association Cemetery, Hartford. A memorial period will be observed at the home of daughter, Andrea, 26 Sturbridge La., Avon on Sunday, 1 pm - 6 pm.
