Judith (Malley) Maddox

Judith (Malley) Maddox of Tunxis Village, Farmington, wife of Byron Maddox died Wednesday (September 5, 2007). Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late David and Anne (Levin) Malley and was a 1955 Weaver High School graduate and a 1960 graduate of the Hartt School of Music. She was a member of Beth El Temple. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, David Jay Goldstein and his wife Karen of Gaithersburg, MD; a daughter, Margi Ellen Goldstein-Denton and her husband Rex of Madison. Four grandchildren, Ellen and Andrew Goldstein, and Richard and Jonathan Denton. She was predeceased by a brother Sherman Malley. Funeral services will be Friday, September 7, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., with burial in Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon. A memorial period will be observed at her home Friday following the funeral, Saturday evening and Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06050.
