Joyce Cohn

Joyce S. Cohn passed away on Thursday, August 9 in Manhattan. The loving daughter of Marion Renert Cohn and Albert Cohn, sister of Barbara Nathanson, sister-in-law of Robert Nathanson, aunt to Allyson Duffy and her husband Justin, Matthew Nathanson, great-aunt to Finnegan, Tate and Oliver Duffy, and many close cousins. She also leaves her special aunt Lillian Renert. Joyce was a loving and caring person with a wide circle of friends from many avenues of life and always displayed her caring, loving, affectionate manner to all regardless of their station in life. She grew up in West Hartford, graduated from Conard High School and Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. She worked for many years in the insurance industry. She spent most of her adult life in Manhattan where she enjoyed her love of music, the arts, and the New York Mets. Burial services were private and there are no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements were provided by Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford, CT. Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of choice. Joyce will be remembered as she lived, kind, caring and loving to all.
