Jenny (Solomson) Zuman

Jennie (Solomson) Zuman, 99 years of age, passed away peacefully Tuesday (May 3rd, 2011) at La Posada in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She was born July 9, 1911, daughter of Rachel and Samuel Solomson, in Hartford, where she resided for 96 years. Voted sweetest in her graduating class at Hartford High, until her death she was a loving person to her family, friends and strangers. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years Allen Zuman, and her brother Nathan. Jennie is survived by her two daughters Carole Cushing and her husband Edward of Houston, TX, Gayle Schwartz and her husband Robert of Jupiter, FL; five grandchildren: Ronald Cushing, Stephen Cushing, Dean Cushing, Jonathan Rapoport and Dayna Rapoport; and nine great grandchildren. A gravesite funeral service will be held on Friday, May 20th 2011 at 11 a.m. in the United Synagogues Cemetery, Wethersfield with Rabbi Lazowski officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
