Jeffrey (M.) Krupnikoff

Jeffrey M. Krupnikoff, 58 years of age, of Cromwell, died suddenly Thursday, July 9, 2009. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Helen (Volchak) Krupnikoff of West Hartford and the late Abraham Krupnikoff. He received his B.A. Degree cum laude in 1972 from the University of Rochester and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut in 1978. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1979 and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut in 1982. Jeffrey was a principal of the firm Solomon, Krupnikoff & Wyskiel, P.C. He was a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Kuhn Employment Opportunities, Inc. (a non-profit organization helping individuals with disabilities obtain employment). He was also a former Director of the Meriden Chamber of Commerce and of the Skyview Condominium Association. Jeff was an avid sports fan with a quirky sense of humor. He loved golf, skiing, hiking and traveling around the world. Besides his mother, he leaves twin sisters, Janis Mochnick of Farmington, and Leslie Krupnikoff of Bloomfield, and Diana Sayers of West Hartford; his aunt Annie; his nieces, Alexis and Kristin; his loving partner, Renee Vanek. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM with a service at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford.
