Jeanette (Lehrer) Knafel

KNAFEL, Jeanette (Lehrer) Knafel, 87, of Ellington Rd., South Windsor died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at home with her family by her side. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lena (Goldstein) Lehrer. She leaves her husband of 64 years, Harold Knafel; two sons, Irwin A. Knafel of Higganum, and E. Steven Knafel and his wife Sandra of South Windsor; two grandchildren, Glen Knafel and his wife Lisa, and Lori Togo and her husband Claudio; and three great-grandchildren, Faith Burns, Max Togo, and Lily Knafel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford with Rabbi Jeffrey Glickman officiating. Interment will follow in the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, East Granby. A memorial period will be observed at her home, 1400 Ellington Rd., South Windsor, Tuesday following the funeral.
