Janice (Nussman) White

Janice Nussman White of West Hartford and Bloomfield died Sunday, April 19, 2009. Born in Hartford on December 25, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Sadie (Manning) & Harry Nussman. She graduated from Weaver High School, attended trade school and worked for the Internal Revenue Service until her marriage to Ernest White in 1953. In 1959, they moved to West Hartford where they lived for almost 40 years. Janice retired from the Town of West Hartford Town Clerk?s Office in 1989 after 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest White, in January 2008, and is survived by daughter Shari W. Keith and her husband Tom of Phoenix, AZ; son Eric D. White and his wife Bobbi of Colchester; four grandchildren: Brewster & Huntington Keith, and Melissa & Bryan White; and her sister Marilyn Honeyman. The family would like to thank Seabury Meadows and Seabury Retirement Community for their love, compassion and great care. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford with Rabbi Jeffrey Bennett officiating.
