Janet (Lashin) Feldstein

FELDSTEIN, Janet (Tuber) Lashin Feldstein, 96, of Swampscott, MA died Saturday, June 10, 2006. She was the widow of David Lashin and Saul Feldstein. Born in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ruben and Dora (Gross) Tuber. She was the owner of Star Grocery Store, Park St., Hartford, CT before she retired. She was a former member of Beth David Synagogue of West Hartford, CT and the Synagogue Sisterhood, Hadassah, and the Auxiliary of the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center of Brookline, MA. She leaves two daughters, Rena Zellin and her husband Alex of Peabody, MA, and Evelyn Cohen and her husband William of Longmeadow, MA; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, CT with Rabbi Yitzchok Adler officiating. Interment will follow in Beth David Synagogue Cemetery, Wethersfield, CT. Shiva will be observed Tuesday following the funeral, Wednesday and Thursday, with a service at 7:00 PM, at the home of her daughter, Evelyn Cohen, 113 Osceola Lane, Longmeadow, MA 01106.
