Jack Levin

Jack Levin, 96, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of West Hartford, CT, passed away on January 22, 2016. Born in the Bronx, NY, he is the late son of Albert and Minerva (Shapiro) Levin. Jack was predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Joelle (Bernstein) Levin. Jack served in the United States Air Force during World War II. His career included retail at Macy’s, G. Fox, and Beacon Light. A devoted and loving father and grandfather, Jack leaves behind two daughters, Sharon Bercowetz of West Hartford, CT, and Esther Morrison and her husband, Robert, of Boca Raton, FL. He also leaves three grandchildren, Matthew Bercowetz of New York, NY, Adam Bercowetz of West Hartford, CT, and Amy Morrison of Boca Raton, FL. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Levin, and his son-in-law, Sherman Bercowetz.

The funeral will be held on Monday, January 25, at 11:00 AM at Beth-El Cemetery in Avon, CT. The family will be sitting shivah immediately following the service at his daughter’s home. In lieu of flowers, please contribute donations to a charity of your choice in Jack’s memory.
