Isadore (N.) Gershman

GERSHMAN, Isadore N. Gershman, 85 years of age, of West Hartford, formerly of Rocky Hill and Windsor, died Saturday, January 2, 2010. Born in Hartford , he was the son of the late Abraham and Jennie (Weinberg) Gershman. He was a graduate of Wesleyan University with a B.A. and Harvard University with an M.B.A. He was a US Army veteran of World War II. Isadore was the Principal Bank Examiner for the State of Connecticut. He was beloved by all of the people who knew him and worked with him. He was known for his caring and easy going manner and he was kind to everyone. He was predeceased by his brother, Julius Gershman; and by his sisters, Beatrice Gershman and Bernice Gershman. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Monday, January 4, 2010 at 2:30 PM at the Chevry Lomday Meshnayes Cemetery, Garden St., Hartford with Rabbi Yitzchok Adler officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
