Horace Sarter

Horace Sarter, M.D., 88 years of age, of West Hartford, died Wednesday, December 12th, 2018. He was the husband of the late Sondra (Becker) Sarter. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Samuel and Rae (Parnet) Sarter. Dr. Sarter was a beloved Pediatrician in West Hartford for over thirty years. He leaves two daughters, Ellen Rosenberg and her husband Andrew of West Hartford, and Rebecca Stein and her husband Russell of Newton, MA, his brother, Lester Sarter and his wife Myrna of Lake Worth, FL, and five grandchildren, Kara Rosenberg, Benjamin Rosenberg, Daniel Stein, Jared Stein and Samuel Stein.

A private Funeral service for the family will be held this Sunday, December 16th, in Hartford, Connecticut. The Stein family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday evening at their home in Newton, Massachusetts, from 6pm-8:30pm.
