Hilda (Robbin) Grossman

GROSSMAN, Hilda Robbin Grossman, of West Hartford, died Thursday, September 13, 2007 after living a long wonderful life of 94 years. She was the widow of David Grossman. Born in The Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jenny Robbin of Robbin?s Delicatessen. She leaves her children, Marcia Grossman Nozik, her husband Ira Nozik and their daughter Randy Grossman Nozik of West Hartford; and her brother Joseph Robbin of Boca Raton, FL. She was a kind, caring, generous, selfless lady who always put everyone before herself. She was a life member of Hadassah, ORT and Beth David/Teferes Israel Synagogue. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with burial in the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, East Granby. Shiva will be observed at her children?s home Alderwood Drive, West Hartford, from Sunday following the funeral through Tuesday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
