Helen (Malkes) Fritz

Helen (Malkes) Fritz, 92, of West Hartford, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006. She was the widow of Louis Fritz. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Hyman and Golda Malkes. She was a member of Beth Hillel Synagogue of Bloomfield. She leaves two sons: Jesse M. Fritz and his wife Renee of Naples, FL, and Glenn A. Fritz of Marlborough; three grandchildren: Aimee Hershman and her husband David, Pamela Rome and her husband Alan, and Susan Fritz; and two great grandchildren: Jaime and Julie Rome. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of the Hebrew Home & Hospital for the extraordinary care provided to Helen. Funeral services will be held TODAY, at 11:30 am at Beth El Temple Cemetery, Jackson St., Avon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hebrew Home & Hospital, 1 Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford 06117.
