GROSSMAN, Harry Grossman, 95, of Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford died Saturday, September 22, 2007. He was the husband of the late Goldie Dansky Grant and the late I. Mildred Zamal. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Cohn) Grossman. Harry taught in the Hartford Public School System before he retired. He was a member of the Connecticut Educators Association and Jonathan Lodge I.O.O.F. He leaves his son, Leonard Grossman and his wife Pamela of Vernon; two grandsons, Jonathan Grossman and his wife Sabrina and Heath Grossman and his wife Jetaun; four great-grandchildren, Max, Dylan, Nate and Gabe Grossman; and a brother, Charles Grossman of MD, and he was predeceased by a brother Theodore “Ted” Grossman. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Piaterer Verein Society Cemetery, Jordan Lane, Wethersfield. A memorial period will be observed Tuesday following the funeral through Wednesday evening, at the home of his son, 10 Willowstream Dr., Vernon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hebrew Home & Hospital, 1 Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford 06117. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
