DIAMOND, Harry Diamond, 91, of Chatfield Drive, West Hartford died Thursday, March 2, 2006. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ida Diamond. Harry served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. He sold life insurance and mutual funds before he retired. He was a member of the Emanuel Synagogue of West Hartford and the Jewish War Veterans. He leaves his wife, Doris (Levine) Diamond; a son, Richard J. Diamond with his wife Pamela Gilman of Framingham, MA; a daughter, Ann-Louise Richman of Newington with Robert Schanzer; two grandsons, Adam Richman with his wife Katie, and Jared Richman with his wife Jessica; and a sister, Pauline Kaplan of Stafford Springs. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the support extended by The Chatfield community. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 5, 2006 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi David J. Small officiating. Interment will follow in Congregation B’nai Sholom Memorial Park, Wethersfield. A memorial period will be observed at the home his daughter, 88 Miami Avenue, Newington Sunday and Monday evenings. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Hospital Hospice, 114 Woodland Street, Hartford 06105 or to the Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford 06117.
