Harriet (Seer) Lubin

LUBIN, Harriet (Seer) Lubin, 83, of Haynes Rd., West Hartford died Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Hartford Hospital. She was the widow of Saul Lubin. Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gussie (Siegel) Seer. Harriet worked for the U.S. Naval Auxiliary Air Station in Philadelphia. She also worked in the Day Care Center at the Greater Hartford Jewish Community Center in West Hartford. She leaves two sons, Randy Lubin of West Hartford, and Dennis Lubin with his wife Carole of Manchester; a daughter, Doreen Feldblum with her husband Seymour of Newington; four grandchildren, Jason Feldblum, Eric Feldblum and his wife Michele, and Jessica Lubin; three great-grandchildren; and a sister Sylvia Coleman of Newington. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 1:30 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Gary Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in the John Hay Memorial Park, Garden St., Hartford. A memorial period will be observed Tuesday following the funeral through Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter, 158 Indian Hill Rd., Newington 06111.
