Harriet (Ruth Beck) Elukin

Harriet Ruth (Beck) Elukin, 84, of West Hartford, formerly of Highland Park, IL, died Thursday, (February 21 2013) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Jean (Katz) Beck. Harriet taught in the New York and Chicago public school systems. She leaves her husband Edward Elukin; her son Jonathan Elukin of Bloomfield; and her grandson, Benjamin Elukin. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 in the Chapel of Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., with Rabbis James Rosen officiating. Interment will follow in the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby.
