Gertrude (Slipchinsky) Stepakoff

Gertrude (Slipchinsky) Stepakoff, of Abrahams Blvd., West Hartford, widow of Samuel Stepakoff, died Sunday (October 23, 2005). She was a member of the Pioneer Women’s Organization. She is survived by a son, Joel Stepakoff and his wife Elaine of Dunwoody, GA; five grandchildren: Mark, Susan, Jeffery, Michael and Scott Stepakoff and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Dr. Gerald Stepakoff. Funeral services will be TODAY, 3 p.m. at the Hebrew Merchants Association Cemetery, Garden St., Hartford, with Rabbi Philip Lazowski officiating. The family will receive friends at the Home of Ruth Sloate, 1 Malone Dr., Bloomfield, through Tuesday.
