Gertrude (Portnoy Mezritz) Moskowitz

MOSKOWITZ, Gertrude (Portnoy) Mezritz Moskowitz, 96, of Tamarac, FL, formerly of West Hartford, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008. She was the widow of Abraham ?Al? Mezritz and Gustave A. Moskowitz. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Hyman and Celia (Gishman) Portnoy. She leaves her daughter, Marjorie G. Mezritz and her son-in-law Robert Rennhack of Washington, DC; her daughter-in-law, Marjorie S. Mezritz of Manchester; and three grandchildren, Alicia Mezritz, Michele Mezritz, and Matthew Rennhack. She was predeceased by her son Paul Mezritz. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 1, 2008 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. A memorial period will be observed privately by the immediate family.
