Gertrude (Blum) Kahn, 87, of Albany Ave., West Hartford, wife of Harry I. Kahn, died Monday, November 19, 2007. Born in Austria, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Adele (Braun) Blum. She was a former member of Congregation Tikvoh Chadoshoh, Bloomfield and a former member of Princess Rebekkah Lodge. Besides her husband, she leaves her daughter, Arleen Wallack and her husband Peter of Bloomfield, and a grandson Kyle Wallack and his wife Melissa. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Congregation Tikvoh Chadoshoh Cemetery, Windsor with Rabbi Lilly Kaufman officiating. A Memorial Period will be observed at her daughter?s home, 23 Benton Dr., Bloomfield Wednesday following the funeral and Friday.
