Geraldine (Davidson) Greenberg, 90 of West Hartford, beloved wife of Victor, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, died peacefully Friday, February 23, at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center. She was born in Chicago on September 4, 1916 to the late David and Anna Davidson. She lived most of her life in West Hartford. She married Victor in 1941 and after the death of her father, they took in her mother and four sisters. She was one of the founding members of Beth El Temple and the treasurer of Hadassah. She worked for many years as a designer in the family owned furniture store, Greenberg and Beatman. She and Victor traveled extensively and spent winters in Florida with family and friends. They lived a full life together and were married almost 66 years. She will be missed by her son and daughter-in-law Mark and Felicia Greenberg of West Hartford and children Blythe and Jordan; her daughter Dianne Larichiuta of Beaufort, SC; grandson Scott Johnson and wife Lisa and children Tyler, Connor & Emily, grandson Wayne Johnson and wife Michelene and daughter Chloe, grandson Matthew Johnson and children Nathan and Gabrielle, and grandson Zachary Larichiuta. She is survived by three sisters, Muriel Rosenthal, Shirley Cohn and Roz Tarlow and her husband Jack. The family wishes to thank Loretta Gray for her loving care of Geraldine. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave. Hartford with Rabbi Edward Cohen, Rabbi James Rosen and Rabbi Stanley Kessler officiating. Interment will follow in the Piaterer Verein Society Cemetery, Jordan Lane Ext., Wethersfield. A Memorial Period will be observed at her home, 58 Mohegan Dr., West Hartford, Tuesday following the funeral through Thursday evening with services at 6 PM.
