Gerald "Jerry" Krupnikoff

KRUPNIKOFF, Gerald ?Jerry? Krupnikoff, of Farmington, died Monday, October 26, 2009. Born and raised in Hartford, he was the son of the late Joseph and Leonore (Bresky) Krupnikoff. Jerry leaves his beloved wife, Marcia of Farmington; and his treasured children, Henry and Patricia Krupnikoff of Farmington, Michael Krupnikoff of Bethel; grandchildren, Alexander, Cara, Samuel, Jessica and Lauren; and his sisters, Susan Azia and her husband Mark of Framingham, MA, and Roberta Hornberger and her husband William of Eastham, MA. Jerry graduated from Cheshire Academy and the University of Connecticut. He was a member of Phi Epsilon Pi Fraternity. He served in the National Guard as a medic at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. He was a C.P.A. and partner in Kostin, Ruffkess & Co. LLC for over thirty years. A very special man, Jerry loved the outdoors, boating and living on Gate Island, Otis, MA. He spent many wonderful years motoring around the lake and being with his family and good neighbors. He was treasurer of the Gate Island Association for many years and was an integral part of the island community. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the excellent and compassionate care given to Jerry at both the Alzheimer?s Resource Center and Avon Health Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby with Rabbi Jeffrey Bennett officiating. A memorial period will be observed at his home in Farmington Wednesday following the interment, Thursday 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM, and Friday 2:00-4:00 PM.
