Gerald (M.) Blank

Gerald M. Blank, 66 years of age, of Avon, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Detroit, MI, he was the son of Rose (Mandell) Sallen of Southfield, MI and the late Irving Blank. Jerry graduated from the University of Michigan, University of Michigan Law School and New York University School of Law- LLM Program. He was the president of Griffin Consulting, a consulting firm. Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Donna M. Burke; his children, Ivan A. Blank of Manhattan, KS, Jamie R. Crowell and her husband Charles of New York, NY, Isabel O. Blank and William A.C. Blank both of Avon; his grandson, Henry Parker Crowell; and his two brothers, Daniel Blank and his wife Linda of West Bloomfield, MI, and Martin Blank of Ann Arbor, MI. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford.
