Gary Gottesman

Gary Gottesman, Esq., 60, of Woodstock Drive, Manchester, beloved husband of Janice “Jan” Gottesman, uncle of Rachel, Taylor, Alexa, Jacob and Zachary, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. He has spread his sails to the morning breeze and is sailing peacefully on the great sea. Raised in Greater Hartford, he was the son of the late Abraham and Ruth (Kowalsky) Gottesman. He was predeceased by his sister Susan. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Sanctuary of Temple B’nai Israel, 345 Jackson St., Willimantic with Rabbi Jeremy Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow in Temple B’nai Israel Cemetery, Mansfield. A memorial period will be observed at his home, 78 Woodstock Dr., Manchester through Saturday evening. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Temple B’nai Israel, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford, or Chabad East of the River.
