Fredell (Zlochiver) Basch

Fredell (Zlochiver) Basch, 97 years of age, of Macungie, PA, formerly of West Hartford, died Thursday, September 30, 2010. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Bertha (Pearle) Zlochiver. She was the widow of Samuel R. Basch. She had worked for the Connecticut State Department of Labor. Mrs. Basch was a long time member of the Emanuel Synagogue, West Hartford. She leaves two sons: Dr. Bruce Basch and his wife Carol of Macungie, PA, and Dr. Donald Basch and his wife Dee of Needham, MA; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a sister, Rita Barschak of Beverly Hills, CA. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers: Isaac and Philip Zlochiver, and a sister: Dorothy Rapaport. A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 2:30 PM in the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, 1361 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield.
