Florence (Schultz) Jacobson

Florence (Schultz) Jacobson of West Hartford, formerly of McLean,Virginia and Bethesda, Maryland, died on November 22, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Betty (Dunn) Schultz. She was a graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University and for many years was the director of the North Arlington Parish Child Care Center. She leaves her son, John Jacobson (Nancy) of West Hartford, and her daughter, Amy Malamud (Steve) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also leaves her six grandchildren and 2 great-grand children. She was predeceased by her brother Irving Schultz. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, with Rabbi James Rosen officiating. Interment will follow at the Beth El Temple Cemetery, Jackson Street Ext. Avon. Following the interment, the family will greet guests at a reception at Beth El Temple, 2626 Albany Avenue, West Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beth El Temple, 2626 Albany Avenue, West Hartford, Connecticut.
