Felicia Goldfield

Felicia (Shafer) Goldfield, 81, of Carlyle Road, West Hartford, died Tuesday (November 17, 2009). Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Sarah (Krinsky) Shafer. She was a member of Hadassah. She leaves her husband, Jerome Goldfield; two sons, David Goldfield and his wife, Joan of Leesburg, VA, and Steven Goldfield of West Hartford; a daughter, Fern Darling and her husband, William of Ashford; six grandchildren, Kevin, Allison, Matthew, Amanda, Ashley, and Andrew; and a sister, Marilyn Weiss of Clearwater, FL. She was pre-deceased by a son, Michael Goldfield. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, with Rabbi Howard Herman officiating. Interment will follow in the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, East Granby. A memorial period will be observed at her home through Sunday.
