Evelyn (Max) Marholin

Evelyn (Max) Marholin, 100 years of age, of West Hartford died Monday, (October 15, 2012). She was the widow of David Marholin. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Zelak A. and Mollie (Weber) Max. She leaves a sister, Cynthia Gross and her husband Robert of West Hartford; she also leaves her granddaughter, Laura Marholin and her husband Martin Garcia; a daughter-in-law Chris Marholin; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Max; she also leaves her nephews Andrew Gross, Robert Gross, Jr., Sigmund Wissner-Gross, David Max, Jeffrey Max, and Peter Max; along with several grand-nephews and grand-nieces. Evelyn was predeceased by her sons, Michael Weber Marholin and David Marholin, II; and by her brother Sidney W. Max. Funeral services will be private with interment at the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, 1361 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
