Evelyn (Levinson) Heller

Evelyn Heller, 94, of Boynton Beach, FL and Bloomfield, CT, peacefully passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013. The youngest of four sisters, she was born in Hartford, CT, May 14, 1918, but lived in New York City for many years before returning to Hartford in 1945. She was the wife of Meyer (Mickey) Heller, who predeceased her in 1994. Two sisters (Anna Morshenson and Lee Levy) also predeceased her. She leaves three children (Paul Heller MD, of Cheshire, CT, Laurel Glazier, of Fort Lee, NJ, and Linda Salberg, of Bloomfield, CT), six grandchildren (Seth Salberg, David Salberg, Jessica Heller, Daniel Heller, Kevin Glazier, and Danielle Glazier), one great-grandchild (Mickey Glazier), and one sister (Florence Gram, age 98). The funeral will be held Jan. 11, 2013, at 1:30 p.m., at Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford CT. Shiva will be held at the home of Linda Salberg, 12 Pheasant Lane, Bloomfield, CT, Friday afternoon after the funeral, Saturday evening, and Sunday. Donations should be made to the Hebrew Healthcare Hospice Department, in West Hartford, CT.
