Esther (Stoltz) Stone

Esther (Stoltz) Stone, 90, of Bloomfield, widow of Bernard Stone, died Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Born in New Britain on October 22, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mamie (Levine) Stoltz. She leaves two sons: Louis Stone of Bloomfield, and Paul Stone and his wife Elizabeth of Florida; two daughters: Marilyn Ristow and her husband David of Amston, and Elizabeth Stone of Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren: Ross Stone, Nicole and Brandon Stone, Mika Muniz, and Rebecca and Jessica Ristow. She also leaves her brother: Morris Stoltz and his wife Henrietta of Newington; her sisters-in-law: Irene Balaban of Manchester, and Sylvia Wise and Muriel Keiper both of Bloomfield; and a brother-in-law: Milton Stone of Newington. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Harry, Sam and Benny Stoltz. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Howard Herman officiating. Interment will follow in the Workmen?s Circle Branch 15, Garden St., Hartford. Following the funeral, a memorial period will be observed at her home, 27 Kelsey Place, Bloomfield.
