Esther "Essie" (Maisel) Komiss

Esther ?Essie? (Maisel) Komiss passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Born in Mobile, AL, she lived most of her life in New Britain. She was the widow of Leo Komiss who founded Holiday Travel in New Britain in 1952. Essie was pre-deceased by her daughter Laura Roden. She is survived by her daughter Michele Fragola and her husband Al; grandson Adam Fragola and his fiancee Courtney Knees; granddaughter Lisa Fink and her husband James; and her three beautiful great grandchildren: Emily, Ryan and Molly Fink. Private services were held at Beth Alom Cemetery in New Britain. Essie?s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to her second family at the Alzheimers Resource Center where she resided. The genuine love and tender care given to her will never be forgotten. Contributions in Essie?s memory may be made to The Alzheimers Resource Center of CT, 1261 South Main St., Plantsville, CT 06479.
