Elizabeth (Winik) Benbrook

Elizabeth (Winik) Benbrook, 53, of West Hartford, CT, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Born in Norwalk, CT, she was the daughter of the late Laurence J. and Mary (Lee) Winik. She leaves her children, Brian of Escondido, CA, Lindsay of Fountain Valley, CA, and Justin; her brother, Peter L. Winik of Bethesda, MD; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Friday, November 8, 2013 in the Silberman Chapel of Congregation Beth Israel, 701 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, CT, with Rabbi Dena Shaffer officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2pm to 5pm Sunday, November 10, 2013, at the home of Paul and Julie Bukowski, 75 Bloomfield Ave., Hartford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boy Scout Troop Liz served as Assistant Scoutmaster with joy, energy and dedication.
