Elinor Kay "Lynn" Greenberg

Elinor Kay “Lynn” Greenberg, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Houston, Texas. Born in New York City to Doris and Arthur Spielberg, Lynn attended the University of Pennsylvania where she met and later married Howard Greenberg of Hartford, Connecticut. Devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother, Lynn always remembered loved ones and friends on birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions. Her love for travel with friends and family brought her great joy and created lasting memories. She volunteered to various organizations including the Jewish Community Center and Congregation Rodeph Shalom Sisterhood in Tampa, Florida; Hadassah, Seven Acres’ gift shop, Brith Shalom Sisterhood and gift shop, Greater Houston Jewish Genealogical Society, Texas Jewish Historical Society, Red Hat Society and The Children’s Museum in Houston, Texas. Preceded in death by husband, Howard Greenberg. Lynn is survived by daughter Maida Goodman and husband Albert, son Mark Greenberg and wife Jennifer, grandchildren Adam Lewis and fiancé Kate Lincoff, Mervin and Grant Goodman, Miles and Scott Greenberg, sister Barbara Luther and husband Stuart, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
