Eleanor (Gold) Liebowitz

Eleanor (Gold) Liebowitz, 89, of Bainton Road, West Hartford, widow of Milton J. Liebowitz, died Sunday, October 22, 2006. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Molly (Blumberg) Gold. Mrs. Liebowitz was a member of Beth El Temple, West Hartford. She leaves a son, Frederick M. Liebowitz and his wife Carol of West Hartford; a daughter, Joan Lazer and her husband Dr. Edward Lazer of Trumbull; and four grandchildren: Adam and Matthew Liebowitz and Molly and Sarah Lazer. Funeral services were held on Sunday in the Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon with Rabbi James Rosen officiating. A memorial period will be observed at her home, 20 Bainton Road, West Hartford through Monday evening.
