Dorothy (Burkowsky) Selinger

Dorothy Claire (Burkowsky) Selinger, 77 years of age, of West Hartford, formerly of Manchester, died Thursday, February 28, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Esther (Kleinman) Burkowsky. She was a word processor for the Hartford Insurance Group and CT Mutual. Dorothy was a member of Beth Sholom B’nai Israel in Manchester and the synagogue’s choir. She leaves her son, Gary I. Selinger of Forest Hills, NY; and her brother Brian Burkowsky and his wife Ellen of Redbank, NJ. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Temple Beth Sholom Memorial Park, Autumn St., Manchester with Rabbi Richard Plavin officiating.
