Dinah (Davis) Sholovitz

SHOLOVITZ, Dinah (Davis) Sholovitz, 94, of West Hartford, died Thursday, April 13, 2006. She was the widow of Max Sholovitz. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Rebecca (Goldsmith) Davis. Mrs. Sholovitz was a member of Beth Hillel Synagogue in Bloomfield, the Sisterhood of the Synagogue, the Auxiliary of the Hebrew Home & Hospital, Hadassah, and the West Hartford Seniors. She leaves two daughters, Ann Levin and her husband Milton of West Hartford, and Barbara; a brother, Louis Davis of Kansas City, MO; three sisters, Gladyce Davis and Ruth Gershman both of Warwick, RI, and Miriam (Mimi) Feinstein of Cranston, RI; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Sylvia Kirshenbaum. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment in Beth Hillel Synagogue Cemetery, East Granby. Memorial contributions may be made to Beth Hillel Synagogue, 160 Wintonbury Ave., Bloomfield 06002.
