Dena (Kranowitz) Mann

Dena Kranowitz Mann, born March 6, 1925 in New Britain, CT, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 from pneumonia. She was married to William H. Mann; and was the daughter of Louis and June Kranowitz, sister of Susan, Nomi and Alan Kranowitz. She grew up in New Britain and attended Barnard College. Dena is survived by her four children, Peter Mann of Wolfeboro, NH; Todd Mann of Chevy Chase, MD; Jonathan Mann of Woodbine, MD; and Janie Mann of Boston, MA. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Chelsea and Justin and two step-grandchildren, Herman and Michael. Dena was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother and will be missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Beth Alom Cemetery, Allen St., New Britain.
