David (L.) Rosenthal

David L. Rosenthal, 71, of Manchester, formerly of East Hartford, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Nathan W. and Elisabeth (Michelson) Rosenthal. David served in the U.S. Army and was a men’s clothing salesman. He spent his recent winters at his home in Boynton Beach, FL, which he dearly loved. He always returned to Ocean Beach in New London, where he spend his summers since his childhood. David is survived by his loving companion, Regina Cavagnaro and her extended family. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby. Memorial contributions in memory of David may be made to the ECHN Community Healthcare Foundation, 71 Haynes Street, Manchester 06040. All donations referenced Mr. Rosenthal will support the Meg Berte Owen Cancer Survivorship Fund, which provides support to patients and families who are struggling with a battle against cancer.
