David Pollack, 95, of West Hartford, CT passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 3, 2015. He was born in Hartford, CT son of Jacob and Esther Pollack (Enger). He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and worked as an independent contractor and in commercial real estate until he retired. He was a spiritual man and a charter member of Beth-El Temple in West Hartford. David was predeceased by his wife and love of his life, “Tootsie”, of 65 years. He leaves two daughters, Jacqueline Davidson of Canton, and Shelley Pollack of Canton; two grandsons, Michael Davidson and his wife Liz, Craig Davidson; two great-grandchildren Grant and Simone Davidson that brought laughter and happiness to his life. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Hebrew Home staff for their care and compassion. A graveside service with full Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Beth-El Cemetery, Avon, CT. Following the ceremony, the family will receive family and friends at the clubhouse at Boulder Ridge, Canton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hebrew Home and Hospital or Beth-El Temple in West Hartford, CT.
