David (N.) Hartstein

David N. Hartstein, 68 years of age, of Boca Raton, FL, formally of West Hartford, CT, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018. Born in New Britain, CT, he was the son of the late Arnold Hartstein and Freda (Jaffe) Hartstein Bernstein and the stepson of the late Irvin Bernstein. David was an artist who had a great interest in travel. He was a quiet and gentle man, who loved and was well loved by his family and close friends. David is survived by his brother Allan Hartstein and his wife, Phyllis, of Boca Raton, FL, their sons Marc, of N. Plainfield NJ and Jonathan, of Louisville CO, and his uncle, Morton Jaffe of New York City. Funeral services will take place at 1 P.M. on June 6, 2018 at the Beth Alom Cemetery, 46 Allen Street, New Britain, CT with Rabbi James Rosen officiating. Immediately following the funeral, the family will receive relatives and friends at the home of Dane and Michele Kostin, 100 Balfour Drive, West Hartford CT.
