Cynthia (Kone) Dolinger

Cynthia (Kone) Dolinger, 81 years of age, of Sterling Dr., Newington, and a long time resident of West Hartford, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Yetta (Matthews) Kone. She was a member of Congregation Beth Israel, West Hartford and its’ Sisterhood. Cynthia was known for her sharp wit and great sense of humor. She leaves her husband, Sheldon Dolinger, and three daughters: Julie Cushman and her husband Guy of Ann Arbor, MI, Dr. Marna Dolinger of Brookline, MA, and Samantha Cook and her husband Daryl of Vernon. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 1:30 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Michael Pincus officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth Israel Cemetery, Avon. A memorial period will be observed at her home, 29 Sterling Dr., Newington, on Thursday following the funeral and on Friday until 6 PM.
