Constance (Casler) Fisher

It is with great sadness that the family of Constance Casler Fisher announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, July 15th 2018 in West Hartford, CT at the age of 74 years. Connie will be lovingly remembered by her son Douglas and his wife Nicole, daughter Elizabeth Fisher Siegal, Erik Siegal, grandchildren Hayden and Camden Siegal and special sister Carolyn Levine. She was the wife of 40 years to James London Fisher, who passed away on July 23, 2010. Connie was born on July 1, 1944 in Boston, MA to Charlotte and Theodore Casler. She attended Brookline High School where she became an avid tennis player. She attended Curry College and continued her education in the state of New Hampshire. Connie and Jim married in 1969 and moved to Bloomfield, CT where they began their lives together. Connie will be remembered for her fierce dedication to exercise and fitness, including racquetball, aerobics and a love for walking. Her energetic spirit and loving guidance touched all those who knew her and will be forever remembered. Not to be forgotten was her love for the Red Sox, Patriots and the other children in her life - the many family dogs and cats that brought so much joy to her.

A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, July 18th at 10am at Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave, Hartford, CT. Shiva will follow at 36 Richmond Lane, West Hartford, CT on Wednesday, July 18th after 5:30pm and on Thursday, July 19th after 2pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Connie’s life.
