Charlotte (Beldner) Soobitsky

Charlotte Soobitsky, 85, of Soobitsky Road, Higganum section died Wednesday, (August 20, 2008) at Middlesex Hospital. She is the wife of the late Eshuwa Soobitsky. Born in Flushing, NY, a daughter of the late William and Rose (Katz) Beldner. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Haddam Grange, and Haddam Club 60. She was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom Rodfe Zedek. She retired from Connecticut Valley Hospital. She is survived by three sons, Howell Soobitsky and his wife, Susan of Higganum, Sy Soobitsky and his wife, Margie of Higganum, and Aaron Soobitsky and his wife, Teri of Margate, FL; six grandchildren, Tirza, Leah, Taylor, Sarah, Ty, and Trent; one brother, Sidney Beldner of Placerville, CA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Russell Soobitsky; and two sisters, Ann Schonbrun, and Harriett Zocks. Weinstein Mortuary of Hartford is in charge of arrangements.
