Charlotte (Sherry) Efron

Charlotte (Sherry) Efron, 88 years of age, of West Hartford, formerly of Floral Park, NY, widow of Stanley Efron, died Monday, June 3, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Eva (Zinober) Sherry. Charlotte was a loving mother, a generous soul and she was the embodiment chesed. She leaves two sons: Dr. Robert F. Efron and his wife Sharon of West Hartford, Dr. Joel R. Efron and his wife Laura, of Mendham, NJ; four grandchildren: Jacob B. Efron and his wife Karli of Portland, ME, Dayna M. Gilbert and her husband Brian of South Windsor, and Natalie and Victoria Efron of Mendham, NJ; and two great grandchildren: Zachary Gilbert and Adele Efron. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi James Rosen officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon. A Memorial Period will be observed at the home of her son, Dr.Robert Efron, 87 Pheasant Hill Dr., West Hartford through Sunday.
