Carol Ann Sherbacow

Carol Ann Sherbacow of West Hartford, beloved wife of Fred A. Sherbacow for 57 years, passed peacefully on December 18, 2012 surrounded by her family. Carol was born September 2, 1935 to Jules and Fannie Comen, and raised in South Norwalk along with her dear brother Alan Comen. Besides her husband, she is survived by her three children, Jill and Sam Alecci of Lake Wallenpaupack, PA, Ken and Mame Sherbacow of Avon, and Eric and Michele Sherbacow of Avon. Carol was blessed with six grandchildren whom she adored; Brianne, Alex, Ben, Natalie, Annie and Jack. Carol lived life to its fullest and dedicated herself to her family, grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. All who knew Carol will miss her loving spirit, kindness, dignity and grace. We are all richer for having her touch our lives with her infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor. She was always ready to help others in any situation. We will miss her dearly. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Beth Israel Cemetery, Jackson St. Extension, Avon with Rabbi Michael Pincus officiating.
