Bryan (S.) Leopold

Bryan S. Leopold, 46 years of age, of West Hartford died Saturday, July 26, 2014 at home with his family at his bedside. Born in New Haven, CT, he was the son of Sidney M. Leopold of Boca Raton, FL and Gail (Blume) Leopold Stolz of Westport, CT. Bryan was an avid sports enthusiast who loved to coach his son’s teams. He loved to travel. He was proud of every accomplishment his sons made. After a long battle with cancer, he will be remembered as a hero for his strength and courage. He fought to the end enjoying each day to the fullest. He was a great husband, awesome father, loving son, brother, uncle and friend to all. Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, Randi (Krouk) Leopold; two sons, Ryan D. Leopold and Justin A. Leopold; his brother, Matthew C. Leopold and his wife Tamara and their children of Pleasantville, NY; his sister, Jacqueline Butler and her family of Hillsboro, NH and his in-laws Marsha and Ivan Krouk of Cheltenham, PA as well as other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, July 28, 2014 in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi David J. Small and Cantor Sanford Cohn officiating. Interment will follow at the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, 1361 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT. Shiva will be observed Monday following interment until 8:00 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday 4-8 PM at his home. Minyan will be at 7:00 PM each night. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made for the benefit of Ryan and Justin’s education fund at Youcaring.com, search fundraisers for Bryan Leopold.
