Bruce (Elliott) Wineburgh

WINEBURGH, Bruce Elliott Wineburgh, 68 years of age, of Perry Rd., Bristol died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at home with his family by his bedside. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Nelson and Regina (Shapiro) Wineburgh. Bruce attended George Washington University and graduated from Central Connecticut State University. He received a Masters Degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Fl. He served in the US Air Force for four years. Bruce was an engineer for Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford. He was a member of Temple Sinai of Newington and the American Model Yachting Association. He leaves his wife, Helene (Miller) Wineburgh; two sons, Joel F. Wineburgh and his wife Nancy of Plainville, and Alan M. Wineburgh of Bristol; and a sister, Susan McGreevy and her husband Richard of Orangeville, PA. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary of Temple Sinai, 41 West Hartford Road, Newington with Rabbi Jeffrey Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Sinai Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the interment in the Social Hall of Temple Sinai.
