Bonnie (Babrow) Nestor

Bonnie Nestor, 54, of Mountain Road, North Granby, wife of Theodore M. Nestor, died Monday, November 27, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Ruth (Tassler) Babrow of Delray Beach, FL and the late Alan Babrow. She was a graduate of the University of Connecticut. Bonnie was a project manager for Marc S. Levine Real Estate Interests in Hartford. Besides her husband and mother, she leaves her son, Dana J. Nestor and her daughter Jesse A. Nestor, both of North Granby; her brother Austin Babrow and his wife Joan of West Lafayette, IN; her niece Franny Babrow; her nephew Peter Babrow; her sister-in-law Karen Goodspeed and her husband Dr. Ronald Goodspeed of Fall River, MA and New London; and her mother-in-law Leona (Leventhal) Nestor of Delray Beach, FL. She was pre-deceased by her father-in-law Joseph Nestor. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the medical and nursing staff at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford with Rabbi James Rosen officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon. A memorial period will be observed at her home, 248 Mountain Road, North Granby, on Wednesday following the funeral and Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Rabbi James Rosen Discretionary Fund, c/o Beth El Temple, 2626 Albany Ave., West Hartford 06117.
