Blossom “Bea” (Feldman) Rosenberg, 91, beloved wife of the late George H. Rosenberg for 60 years, died Wednesday, (April 27, 2011), at her home at Chatfield, West Hartford, CT. Blossom was born in the Bronx, NY, on March 30, 1920, a daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Weinstein) Feldman. She attended New York University. She moved to Hartford with her family in 1940 and worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses in Hartford for more than 30 years. In 1941 she married George H. Rosenberg, and they enjoyed 60 wonderful years together, living first in Hartford, then in Newington and Delray Beach, FL. George died in 2001, and Blossom moved to West Hartford in 2007. Blossom is survived by her daughter Barri Marks and her partner Woody Exley, her granddaughter, Sarah Marks, all of West Hartford; her son Paul Rosenberg and his wife Joyce of Winsted; her former son-in-law David Marks of West Hartford; her sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Ray Schneider of Springfield, OH; two nephews, Bruce Schneider and Larry Schneider of Ohio; her niece, Joan Schneider of Indianapolis; and her sister-in-law Marian Downey of Avon. Funeral arrangements are private. Friends may call at the Marks residence on Saturday, April 30, beginning at 2 p.m. and continuing through Sunday evening. There will be a service and remembrance of Blossom at the Marks residence at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
